Full time artist from Keflavik, Iceland. Passionate about drawing & painting. Art has always been an integral part of my life. My art focuses primarily on realistic portraits - on light, sensuality of skin and intimate space. Throughout my experiences, a great interest in photography, drawing, painting, tattooing, visual storytelling and cinematography: many styles and means of expression has been discovered in which I have resulted in my creation process.
During last years I organized my art exhibitions and I participated in many group exhibitions in Iceland and Poland. In 2023 I was conducting Art classes and workshops for kids & adults in my ART CASE-Marta Ryba Studio on Hafnargata 15, Keflavik, Iceland.

Drawings
I work with mediums such as pencil, pen, ink and dry pastels. I am drawing on different materials and surface textures like newspaper, glass, shell, night lamp using a variety of creative skills and techniques. I capture Icelandic flora, funga and fauna.
